The Ashland Area Chorus is a mixed chorus directed by Dr. Ron Blackley, and is open to community members and Ashland University students. The group rehearses on Mondays from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in Room 242 of the Center for the Arts, 331 College Ave., and performs each semester.
Rehearsals begin January 6.

The Ashland Area Community Concert Band is directed by Mr. Joe Lewis Jr. and is open to all community members and Ashland University students who have experience playing concert band instruments. The group rehearses on Tuesdays from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm in Room 115 of the Center for the Arts, 331 College Ave, and performs each semester.

The Maplerock Jazz Festival is one of the oldest jazz performance and educational festivals in the Midwest. Each year, internationally recognized jazz figures come to Ashland and work with and perform with the region's high school students and the Ashland University Jazz Orchestra.
